family time

Last week and weekend we enjoyed visits from my parents and my sister.  We had so much fun and kept really busy.  I was wiped out by Sunday evening (hence no blog yesterday) but it was really so great to see them and get time with them.  My parents live 12 hours away, so we don’t get time with them all that often.  My sister, Jill, is in the process of relocating from South Carolina (far away) to Michigan (much closer!) so I’m SO excited to have her close by.  Here’s a little of what we did:

Unpictured: the 4H fair, crafting with Jill, shopping in Shipshewana, visiting a good friend’s sweet 2 month old son, hanging out with my aunt and uncle, and a flat tire for the car.

Leo had a ball, too, and keeps asking us for Oma and Opa and Jill.  He LOVED having them here!  We can’t wait to see them all again soon!

  1. Glad you had a good time with your family, Kim! Cute photos of Leo too. You are looking so good (glowing!) at 25 weeks.

    1. Not as good, but still good. Break up one sleeve of graham crackers. Dump in some mini marshmallows. Heat 2c. of chocolate chips. Toss altogether. Spread on waxed paper on a cookie sheet. Sprinkle with sea salt. Freeze til hard and break apart!
