fABuary

tired

Truth: I’m tired this week (hence the no-blogging yesterday).  I don’t know if it’s the long run catching up to me or the late-night Superbowling or a combination of all that (and some rather dreary gray Indiana days).  But I’m tired.  I’ve managed to get diapers through the laundry but there’s darks and whites that both desperately need their turn.  I’ve had “sweeper the kitchen floor” on my to-do list for 2-going-on-3 weeks.  It is disgusting.  So are the bathrooms.  And pretty much all the house.

Fabuary is making my abs really sore, but not fab, at least yet.  I am shockingly sore from 25 sit-ups.

I wore the wrong jacket for running on Saturday.  I now have huge chafe marks from the zipper all over my upper chest.  My coworkers thought Leo had attacked me.

That being said, Leo is smiling more than ever.  Dave and I finally made it through Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (it took us 3 nights to watch it all).  Mudslides/pizookies keep happening way more than they should.

And I don’t know what this picture has to do with anything, but I think it’s adorable.

Look at that diaper butt!

I don’t have a point really, except I’m tired, but I’ll take it, because my life is pretty stinkin great.

What’s making your life great this week?

PS – apple cheddar cornbread recipe and review Friday morning!

  2. Aww, I love that picture of Leo!

I am sorry you are so tired! Do take some quiet time for you, if you ever can 🙂 You deserve it 🙂

  3. Umm, you forgot to mention being a mom on the list of reasons for being tired. I’m pretty sure it gets me every time. I say ditch the to-do list for a day and do what kilax says – get some me time. It will do wonders for rejuvenation.

My week has been made great by napping babies, cashews, coffee and our tax return!
