Leo · marathon training · running

This morning I finally did my missed long run from this past weekend.  12 miles in 1:54:43, 9:34 pace.  The first 8 miles felt pretty good.  The last 4 were increasingly difficult.  I finished with a dime-sized blister on my foot and a growing lack of confidence in my ability to train for this marathon.

But in happier news, somebody is looking particularly grown-up and handsome today!

  1. Don’t fret over 1 bad run. They happen to all of us. We can’t have really awesome runs without a few crummy ones in there too.

Leo is so handsome! I love your photos of him! It gets me so excited to meet my little one.

By the way you’ve been tagged. Feel free to participate but only if you want. Don’t feel obligated. 🙂 The instructions are on my blog.

  2. It’s the bad runs that make us stronger, or so I like to tell myself when I feel lackluster about my miles. Not to be confused with Miles, obviously. Anyway, you are such a rock star (to me), and I have the utmost confidence that you will complete your marathon.

And, yes, Leo is looking quite handsome 🙂

  3. Aww! Hi Leo! You look so cute!

Why are you feeling so down about training? Because of one crummy run? Or is something else going on?
