Day 30 of the 100 days challenge!
Total so far: 81 miles
This morning I did yassos, per my cousin Wendy’s suggestion:
Yassos – 4 to 6 miles. Start with 1/2 mile at 6.8 mph and then run 1/2 mile at 7.8 mph. Back to 1/2 mile at 6.8 mph, repeat 4 to 6 times.
I did them 4 times, plus 1 mile warm-up and 1 mile cool down (at 6.0mph). I also took a brief (1 minute) rest after each one. Final total: 6 miles at 53:00, 8:50 pace. At the end of it I told Dave, “Wendy just worked me over!” It was a really good push for me. Thanks, Wendy!
