the end of birth class

Last night we had our last birth class.  It was all about breastfeeding, newborns, and postpartum recovery.  All real “uppers” of conversation: here’s what’s going to hurt like a mother, here’s how you could damage your baby.  Grrrreat.  Actually, it was pretty informative and we got out early.  Again.  We had four classes that were supposed to go 6-9pm.  We were home by 8pm every time.

Anyhow, sometimes during class they left Lifesavers on the table for us.  I ate the purple ones.  Love them.

Dave and I celebrated the end of classes with a cookie the size of my head.  I’m not kidding.

It was a monster cookie.  Peanut butter chocolately goodness.  No, we did not leave any for “later.”

Baby appointment today and date night tonight!  We’re going to have a killer dinner (roasted oven potatoes, corn on the cob, fresh sweet peas) and put together baby furniture!

What are you Friday night plans?

What’s your favorite Lifesaver flavor?

  1. All I can think about is that cookie! Whoa! I would have not left any for later either.

We are looking at an apartment to rent tonight. Hmm, I liked those funky tropical Lifesavers… the banana flavor!

  2. those lifesavors looked like the size of my hand! were they?!
we’re going camping with the lamberts tonight! 2 kids under the age of 1…how will it go?!
