cat play

The winner of the reader recipe poll is lemon chia muffins!  Recipe and review Friday morning!

I made a new smoothie this morning.  We only had a little bit of spinach left, so I decided to be bold and add some carrots.  I’ve had carrots in my smoothie before and didn’t like them, but I also had POM juice, and I figured the POM might overwhelm the carrots.

The rough estimates:

  • 1 1/2c. spinach
  • 1 1/2 carrots, chopped in large chunks
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 3/4c. POM juice

Thankfully, the POM did overtake the carrots, and this smoothie was really very good (albeit brown and not as delicious looking).

Last night Dave and I had some fun torturing playing with Mosie.

We LOVE when we happen to catch Mosie mid-meow.  It always makes for the best face.

Question of the day: what’s the last movie you saw in the theater?  It’s been awhile for Dave and I, and I’m feeling ready for a movie soon!  I think the last one we saw was Tangled… or The King’s Speech.  One of those!

  1. The last one I saw in a theatre was Date Night. We rarely get to the theatre anymore – about once a year for me, more for Aaron who likes to watch boy movies (shooting people) that I don’t care to watch. We definitely loved Date Night.

  2. Ha, in that second pic, Mosie is like “heeelp! Somebody, heeelp!” Ha ha.

Last night, I was bending over by the door, and Data jumped up on my back, then tried to stand up to see out the window above the door… well, he forgot he is not a monkey, and tried to jump up there and fell all the way to the ground! Not sure why I wanted to tell you that story, but it was kind of funny/scary.

We totally saw Fast Five two Sundays ago. And Hanna in the beginning of April.

  3. The husband and I saw Win Win on Sunday night and a friend and I are headed to Something Borrowed tonight. I hardly ever see movies in the theater, just happen to see two in one week this week. Before that, I hadn’t been to the movies since Harry Potter 7!
